Level Descriptions

At IDA, class levels are based on a combination of skill in said genre and age. While placement tends to follow age more closely, there are occasional exceptions in order to offer the best experience for each student and class in whole. If you have questions regarding which level your dancer should be taking class in or don't see a class upon enrolling, please let us know!

*Class age ranges are set to indicate the age your dancer will be as of June 1st, 2022. If a class does not appear due to a possible age restriction, reach out and depending on the amount of previous dance training approval may be given. Dancers may have the potential to have class levels altered through the year depending on hard work and progress in any given class or style.
